BTS’ Jin Stars in “Wellness Begins with Self-Love” Campaign for Alo Yoga

BTS member Jin is starring in a new campaign for Alo Yoga.

Titled the “Wellness Begins with Self-Love” campaign, the 32-year-old singer, a global ambassador for the Alo, is pictured in several looks from the lifestyle brand.

The campaign is meant to highlight the commitment to “self-care, community and authenticity” that the K-Pop star and the brand both have, according to a release. “I feel my best when I’m balanced – it’s about being true to myself and staying in tune with my body while giving myself grace. Self-love isn’t always easy, but it’s about making the effort to focus on what feels right for you,” Jin said in a statement.

The singer also remarked that the campaign was a chance “to remind everyone to take a moment for themselves and find their own balance,” making it feel so meaningful. “When I’m doing what I love with the people I care about, I feel unstoppable,” he said in a statement. “For me, it starts with practicing positive thoughts and letting go of negativity.”

Jin, along with the rest of BTS, are known for their commitment to self-love and spreading a message of loving one’s self. The group previously released the “Love Yourself” series beginning with their Love Yourself: Her EP in 2017 and ending with their album repackage Love Yourself: Answer, even releasing a song “Love Myself.” The song packs powerful lyrics including “You’ve shown me I have reasons /
I should love myself.”

“Jin’s authenticity resonates deeply with our community,” Alo Yoga’s EVP of Creative and Marketing Summer Nacewicz said in a statement. “This campaign is a celebration of self-love as the foundation of true wellness, and we hope it inspires individuals around the globe to embrace balance, positivity, and their own unique journeys.”

As the eldest in the seven-piece K-pop supergroup, Jin was the first group member of BTS to return to the public eye in June 2024 following the completion of his 18-month mandatory military service. Fellow member J-Hope was discharged in Oct. 2024. The other five members – RM, Suga, Jimin, V and Jungkook – are currently still serving.
